Angelika Mutygulina, of Yekaterinburg, Russia, has been elected to serve as the student representative to the SUNY Jamestown Community College Board of Trustees for the 2021-22 academic year.
Mutygulina was sworn in during the college’s board meeting on July 20.
“I am honored to be a part of the board and serve on behalf of SUNY JCC’s student community,” said Mutygulina. “I believe that we can bring the Jayhawks family together again and give every student the opportunity to learn, have fun, and become the best version of themselves that they can be.”
A student in JCC’s nursing program, she completed an associate degree in psychology in May of 2021. She served as a resident assistant on the Jamestown Campus and is a student member of JCC’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion task force. She was president of the International Club, vice president of Ski Club, a member of Hall Council, and is currently a member of Phi Theta Kappa.
