Professor
I have been fascinated by mathematics from an early age, and have enjoyed explaining it to others, so I naturally gravitated towards becoming a teacher. I have spent most of my teaching career at JCC, where I have had the opportunity to try my hand at online instruction, ITV courses, computer-lab based classes, and traditional lecture settings with diverse groups of students at all levels of mathematics--and even a philosophy course on occasion. My graduate certification in teaching in the virtual classroom from Fielding Graduate University has been helpful in my teaching. I always welcome a new challenge.
Since 2000, I have also volunteered with the Chautauqua County Humane Society, where I work with animals, train new volunteers, and assist with the humane society's Second Chances thrift store.
