Community opportunity: Friendship Family program

Be a friend to our international students at JCC through our Friendship Family program. International students have left their family and friends to come to JCC, and you can help make their stay memorable and rewarding.

Being a friendship family is not the same as a host family. We want to connect our students with caring members of the community who can support them and help them adjust. You do not need to provide housing accommodations for the student. Taking a student grocery shopping, including them at dinner, meeting them for coffee, or involving them in a holiday celebration are all simple ways of sharing. Contact Global Learning for more information.
