Morgan Franchina

Instructor/Director, Counseling and Career Center/Deputy Title IX Coordinator

I am a native of the city of Jamestown, NY, and I love being able to give back to my local community every single day while working at Jamestown Community College. I received my master of education in educational, school, and counseling psychology with an emphasis in positive coaching from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri in May 2019. I earned my bachelor of business administration from SUNY Alfred College of Technology at Alfred in May 2017.

Prior to JCC, I was an assistant athletic academic coordinator at University of Missouri Athletics, where I was an academic advisor and mentor to student-athletes. Prior to Mizzou Athletics, I worked closely with the Pioneer football program and the athletic department at Alfred State, where I spent eight seasons as a student assistant on the Pioneer football staff. I served as coordinator of football operations and media at this time, while also assisting the Pioneer athletic department with day-to-day operations.
