Adjunct Instructor
I teach world history and world regional geography for the Social Sciences department, as well as Introduction to Global Studies and Inquire courses. Prior to finishing graduate school and teaching at JCC, I was a tutor and advocate for students at risk for a number of years. That experience taught me that with dedication and the support of faculty and staff, students can overcome whatever challenges life throws their way.
I am constantly amazed by all that our students achieve. Being a part of their journey and watching them grow over time is a reward that is unique to the field of education and it is at the heart of why my colleagues and I have chosen this career path. We have the advantage of spending our days engaged with curious individuals in an ongoing exploration of the topics we are passionate about, such as history.
