The Information Technology degree at Jamestown Community College prepares you to enter the workforce immediately after graduation with the ability to perform installation, configuration, maintenance, and documentation services. You will be able to support computers, applications, networks, and databases.
Through JCC’s program, you’ll develop an in-depth understanding of computing technology fundamentals. You can customize your career goals with electives that align with specific careers within IT:
- Application and web development: follow programming language sequences in HTML/CSS, PHP, Python, and Java.
- Network administration: build a strong foundation to obtain professional certification in client computers, networking, and Windows servers.
