Fall 2019 Advisement & Registration Begins Here!

Welcome to the online Advisement Preparation Session!  The Advisement Preparation Session (APS) is an important first step in getting ready to meet with a faculty advisor and registering for your fall semester courses. Your online session should take approximately 40-45 minutes to complete. *Hearing impaired students may contact Don Pool directly to complete advisement preparation ( or 716.338.1251)

Please read the below information carefully (this session is NOT designed to be completed on a smartphone).

The online advisement prep option must be completed by 4:00 p.m. August 15Successful completion of the online APS will allow you to schedule for an on-campus faculty advisement meeting. Meeting with your faculty advisor completes the advisement and registration process for the fall semester.

 Do NOT view on a smartphone. Before choosing this option, be sure you have:

  • completed the math placement test or I have received a placement waiver.
  • an email account that you will check on a regular basis in order to receive instructions for scheduling an advisement appointment after completion of this session.
  • access to a working printer and speakers (videos are closed captioned for hearing impaired)
  • up-to-date JAVA and Flash applications
  • access to a computer with high speed internet

Difficulty with the online format? Call your campus Counseling and Career Center (numbers provided below) to discuss options for an in-person session. Students who do not complete Advisement Preparation prior to August 15, will be invited to a group session on August 22.
