The Jayhawk women's basketball team won the National Junior College Athletic Association Division II Region 3 title in a 64-53 win over Genesee Community College on February 28.

The JCC women's team now heads to Westchester Community College for a district title game against Monroe College on March 6. The winner of the game will play in the national tournament March 17-20 in Peoria, IL.
