Survive. Impact. Excel.

Welcome to The Jayhawk Journey, a fun way for JCC students to be rewarded for their involvement and participation in activities across campus. Completing a Jayhawk Journey series is easy and participation can begin at any point during the semester. The best part? Each time you complete three events in a series, you get a chance to win a campus bookstore gift card or JCC prize! Go Jayhawks!

The Categories

  1. Survive - how to be a student: learn better study habits, manage your time, meet new people, learn about JCC resources, cultivate life skills, balance your checkbook, cook nutritious meals…be a better student!
  2. Impact - how to change the world: volunteerism in the community, learn about cultures, educate yourself about social issues, appreciate differences…change the world!
  3. Excel - how to take the next step: write a resume, sell your skills, learn to network, transfer to your top school, present yourself as a professional…be prepared to take the next step!

How It Works

Students who attend and show their student ID will get credit for attending the event. Students who complete 3 events in a series (in one semester or over the course of the academic year) will receive a certificate of completion AND a chance to win either a Campus Store gift card or they can choose from a variety of imprinted JCC products.
