Career preparation and support at JCC

Career Services at Jamestown Community College helps students and alumni prepare for and explore careers. Whether you’re focused on graduating, in the middle of a program, or looking for career guidance after JCC, we’re here to support you with everything from writing a resume and acing an interview to interning at a company and experiencing a job firsthand.

Tools & resources spotlight

  • Big Interview: Create an account with your JCC email address, and you can practice answering industry-specific interview questions, self-assess your performance, and send your practice videos to Career Services for feedback. (Limited time only: access until December 31, 2020)
  • Candid Career: Watch video interviews with professionals across hundreds of career industries to learn more about a day in the life at their jobs, job titles, academic majors, and more. (Limited time only: access until June 30, 2020)
  • College Central Network: JCC uses College Central Network to share internships and local and national job postings, as well as career advice and professional development. Current JCC students automatically have an account, and alumni and community are encouraged to make accounts.
