JCC Students at a Distance

All currently enrolled students of Jamestown Community College have borrowing privileges at the Hultquist Library on the Jamestown Campus and the Cattaraugus County Campus Library in Olean. For more information about the Library Services provided to all JCC students, see Services for Students.

North County Extension Center (NCEC)
JCC students who are taking classes at the Dunkirk extension center may borrow books, magazine and journal articles and media from the Hultquist Library in Jamestown. The first step is to locate the item you want in the JCC Libraries’ Online Catalog. After locating the item, fill out an Interlibrary Loan form which is available in the library on the first floor of the North County Extension Center. Include as much information as you can, including the call number of the item, and take it to the main office. It will be faxed to the Hultquist Library. Within a couple of days, the item requested will be shipped to NCEC and you will be notified.

The loan policies for North County Center students are the same as those students at the Jamestown or Cattaraugus County Campuses. You are able to keep up to ten books for two weeks and may renew most items once. All loaned items are the responsibility of the person who has checked them out. When an item is due back, return it to the NCEC main office. Photocopies of requested journal or magazine articles are yours to keep.

Students may also use the Reed Library at SUNY Fredonia. When at Reed, you will be required to present your JCC ID card along with proof of current address. You will then be issued a Reed Library card. This will allow you to borrow materials in Reed Library's collection.
