New student orientation

Congratulations on choosing Jamestown Community College. Our new student orientation will help you transition into collegiate life at JCC. You'll meet current and new students, staff, and faculty as you learn more about your career community, how to use JCC technology, involvement opportunities, and college policies. We'll also review buying textbooks, getting your student ID card, and signing up for meal plans.

Fall 2020 orientation dates have passed.

Types of orientation
  1. New student orientation: Learn about JCC from support services to common first year experiences and get a glimpse of college life during our new student orientation sessions. This session does not include advisement or registration for classes. You must schedule your advisement and registration separately.
  2. Residence Life orientation: Are you going to be living on campus? Plan to attend a mandatory Residence Life Orientation on the evening of Move In Day. There is no need to register for this session, and details for this event will be sent to you by the Residence Life office. You should still plan to attend a new student orientation.
Next steps

After you've registered, see what else you can do before classes start. Again, congratulations on choosing Jamestown Community College and welcome to the JCC family!
