Introduces the new concept of flex-time physical education which allows students to enroll in either a weight training or cardiovascular conditioning program without traditional day and time schedule restrictions. Topics will include cardiovascular conditions, weight training, injury prevention, nutrition, weight control, body composition, lower back care, and relaxation techniques. No requisites. Care/Prevent Athletic Injuries — 3177

Students will be introduced to methods of conditioning, prevention, recognition, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries, administrative procedures, and other major concerns conducted in an athletic training setting. The application of skills and knowledge in the clinical experience in the athletic training room will be emphasized. Prerequisite/Corequisite: BIO 2510. J fall, spring. Master Course Syllabus
