Students will explore many of the ethical problems confronting legal system personnel, including police, lawyers, judges, and corrections personnel. Course materials will focus on ethical systems, the concepts of law and justice, and various real life ethical dilemmas. Prerequisite: ENG 1510, CRI 1510. J occasionally; C occasionally. Students will examine the definition and interpretation of what terrorism means in the modern world through the lens of film. In this course students understand the difficulty developing a universal definition of terrorism, as well as how film offers a means to discuss difficult political, ethical, and moral issues surrounding terrorism.
