Students will experience visual awareness and perceptual skills through lecture and studio assignments. Encourages exploration of individual components of the visual arts through the introduction of basic concepts and media in drawing, design, painting, printmaking, and sculpture. No requisites. Students will gain a working knowledge of foundation skills and abilities in artistic visual expression. Students are introduced to drawing media and concepts.
