Students in this fine arts and media arts studio course will establish a foundation in digital photography techniques, digital darkroom use, and management, output, and presentation techniques. Students will create images using digital cameras, enhance and manipulate images in the computer, manage and archive digital image files, and assemble a portfolio. Prerequisite/Corequisite: ENG 1510. Intermediate Digital Photograp — 3805

Students will be exposed to the technical and aesthetic issues of photography and how these qualities inform image content. This course is a continuation of ART 1670 ? Digital Photography I. It includes intermediate digital cameras with manual functions, intermediate digital darkroom and digital output, quality of light, intermediate image composition, multiple images, intermediate portfolio development, and critical analysis. It also includes the intermediate use of professional quality computers and image processing software, professional digital cameras, printers, and a lighting studio with professional lighting equipment.
