Your new email provided via your myJCC account will be the “official” way JCC communicates with you. Make sure you check your JCC email often for important information on things like advisement and registration information, financial aid notifications, important deadline dates, graduation information, etc. You can even manage your personal email accounts through your new JCC email account. Here are some of the new services available to you!

	Student Portal Video tutorial A new customizable MyJCC page. A homepage for students to preview their inboxes and calendars, access the JCC essential content, and search the web. An example Start Page.
	Gmail Video tutorial Excellent spam protection and mobile access. • 7 gigabytes of storage so you never have to delete an email again. • Lifetime email. Even when you leave JCC, you still can access your email through JCC. • Built-in chat to talk with friends, classmates, or family all from within your inbox. • Import email and contacts from Yahoo! Mail, Outlook, Hotmail and others.
	Google Docs Video tutorial Great for working on group projects. You can create a document or spreadsheet, share it with your classmates, and collaborate in real-time, from the convenience of your house or dorm. Sharing a document is as easy as sending a link!
	Google Calendar Video tutorial You can schedule your social and academic life, create personal calendars, invite friends to events, and set up meeting times with your classmates.
	Google Talk Video tutorial An easy-to-use application for instant messaging. Google Talk is integrated in the email interface, so you can easily switch between chatting and emailing.
