Hi, I’m Alivia. I’m a sophomore from Van Buren Point, NY majoring in environmental science. After completing my degree at JCC, I plan to transfer into a wildlife science bachelor’s degree program and eventually become a wildlife biologist. In addition to Student Senate, I’m also an active member of the Earth Awareness Club, Hall Council, and the FSA activity board. Outside of school I enjoy volunteering at the Roger Tory Peterson Institute, balloon twisting, unicycling, camping, hiking, and vegetarian cuisine!

After being a freshman senator for a year and a JCC student, I've come to love and appreciate this college and I hope to better it as much as I can. I like being involved, learning new skills, and meeting new people. Senate is important to me because not only do I enjoy being a leader, but I also enjoy being there for people and bringing change when and where it’s needed. I love being involved in something bigger, and I want to help represent the student body to the best of my ability.
