Coronavirus (COVID-19) Updates

JCC’s response to COVID-19

As of March 19, 2020, JCC has begun delivering operations, including instruction, remotely.

What this means:

1. All instruction has moved to a distance delivery format. Those classes which could not move to the distance format (i.e. certain labs) and were intended to be delivered in person are suspended until after spring break.

  • The course list will show you how your courses are offered.
  • Understand the Blackboard component of each of your courses.
  • Explore resources that will help ease the transition to distance learning.
  • Computer labs are not open until further notice.

2. JCC’s Jamestown, Olean, and Dunkirk locations are not open to the public. Student services operations are being conducted remotely.

Don’t hesitate to contact us for more information. Make sure you include your name and phone number in your message. We will respond as quickly as we can.

Please continue to:

  • Remain calm. As the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the state and nation increases, it is possible someone in our area may become infected. Be assured that JCC is in close contact with, and relies on, county and state departments of health and state and national agencies for assistance and guidance.
  • Wash your hands. JCC adheres to strict cleaning protocols to reduce the risk of infection from surfaces that are touched frequently by individuals. Do your part by washing your hands regularly.
