JCC/LECOM Pharmacy Dual Admission Program –
Important Information for High School Students and Counselors

  • While in high school, students can complete required undergraduate courses through JCC’s College Connections or Pre-College Enrollment Program (PEP).
  • Students may substitute equivalent Advanced Placement (AP) courses for required undergraduate courses. However, LECOM will only accept AP credits if the student scores a four (4) or five (5) on the AP exam.
  • For any required undergraduate course completed while in high school, upon approval by the student's JCC advisor an additional course applicable to the field of pharmacy or a course of similar or greater academic rigor must be taken as a replacement course while at JCC.
  • Replacement courses can significantly increase the difficulty of this already demanding program. Thus, it may be disadvantageous to take required undergraduate courses while in high school.
