Guarantees that students who complete an Associate in Science (A.S.) degree in Human Services or an Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Human Services at Jamestown Community College will be admitted to SUNY Fredonia and can declare themselves a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Social Work major.  Students must meet additional stipulated Fredonia Social Work Program’s Advancement Process requirements, some of which include course and grade point expectations, letters of recommendation, an interview if requested by the social work faculty, and having demonstrated behavior, qualities, and characteristics expected of a professional social worker as determined by the Fredonia social work faculty, prior to acceptance for enrollment in the professional methods sequence of courses.  Fredonia will accept up to 75 specified JCC credits in transfer toward fulfillment of the requirements for the bachelor’s degree.
