As part of our continued expansion and succession planning, SmartEdge is seeking an impact performer to fill the role of Software Designer in our Falconer Office.  This is an entry level position with on the job training where you will learn how to develop HVAC control software and design interactive front ends for our end-user.


Operational Goals:

  • Enjoys work with computers, software packages, automated controllers and other highly technical equipment
  • Understand the overall strategy plan for each project based on scope, owner demands, schedules, controllers and other required functions as put together by the supervisor
  • Develop background images for all supported GUIs using current tools
  • Increase your own professional and technical skills (including laughter)

Professional Knowledge and Education:

  • 2 year degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Must be familiar with or have knowledge in computer networking and computer hardware
  • Good mechanical aptitude or HVAC experience is a plus
  • Ability to meet established and impromptu deadlines
