Family Health Medical Services

*Communicates with patients and acts as a liaison between physicians and patients, reporting any unusual situations to physicians *Participates in daily team huddles *Orders and administers vaccinations and shots *Performs various medical procedures, such as changing dressings, venipuncture and specimen collection, TENS treatments, ECGs, PFTs, and audiometry *Monitors inventory and expiration dates on medical supplies and orders nursing supplies as needed *Assists with scheduling appointments for patients as needed and orders necessary medical tests for patients *Assists in educating patients about disease prevention, nutrition, caring for illnesses and the importance of continuity of care in PCMH *Aware of and refers to Community Resources that may benefit the patient *Responds to patient messages in a timely manner *Ensures patient records are up to date and accurate by entering patient information in electronic chart system as needed *Updates licensing and education requirements as needed *Maintains a safe and clean environment *Performs intake on patients to include taking vital signs, weighing patient, and assessing patient needs *Administers first aid and assists providers with office/surgical procedures and reacts effectively to emergency situations *Provides back up where needed, attends to walk-ins, and assists reception with resolving patient issues/complaints


Current RN license. Current CPR certification.
