  • Registering students for semester courses
  • Maintains permanent academic student records to process attendance, address or biographic data changes or post transfer credit, grade changes or other academic notations
  • Processes student attendance, updates records that are sent to the National Student Clearinghouse; assists in the entry of course offerings
  • Prepares and issues transcripts of permanent academic records and prepares and distributes a variety of reports required by the college
  • Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and: two years of general office experience; or one year of data entry experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Must have thorough knowledge of office terminology, procedures and equipment
  • Good knowledge of methods used in maintaining student academic records
  • Ability to interpret courses, grades and credits against various curriculum requirements and to interpret college requirements, grades and other information to students, parents, schools and other interested persons
  • Upholds confidentiality
  • Capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced team environment
  • Have the ability to work effectively with diverse students, faculty, staff, general public, and campus constituencies
