Responsibilities: 

Job Focus
Responsible for the assembly and/or inspection of precision turned metal parts to ensure conformance with quality specifications.  

Job Duties

  • Assembly of small precision turned metal parts
  • Perform quality checks of small precision turned metal parts to ensure conformance of part specifications
  • Record keeping associated with production and quality of product
  • Maintain rates of assembly or inspection of metal parts while meeting quality specifications
Requirements: 

Experience

  • Prefer experience in an assembly or inspection position

Essential Physical Requirements

  • Ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assembly objects
  • Ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate or assemble very small objects
  • Ability to push, pull, lift and move materials weighing zero to 50 pounds
  • Ability to visually use tools, gages and material associated with the inspection of small turned metal parts
  • Regularly required to stand, bend, sit and move to assemble and inspect parts
