Program Student Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the program, students will be able to:
  1. Demonstrate knowledge of business concepts.
  2. Identify business problems and make appropriate recommendations using business applications.
  3. Compile, report, and interpret accounting information.
  4. Demonstrate competency with a fully integrated computerized accounting software package.
  5. Demonstrate the use of computer resources to acquire, manage, and present information.

  7. Explain, describe, and evaluate basics of the American legal system in general and to business law in particular.

  9. Demonstrate an understanding of human behavior in organizations as it relates to topics such as productivity, tardiness, absenteeism, organizational citizenship behavior, turnover, and attitudes such as job satisfaction and job involvement.
  10. Demonstrate an understanding of the tax implications of business decisions.
