Full-time Faculty

Full-time, Tenure-Track Faculty Positions

NURSING INSTRUCTOR (Cattaraugus County Campus) - Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and a minimum of three years of clinical experience. Preferred: Master of Science in Nursing (MS or MSN), or progress towards the degree; five or more years of clinical experience; teaching and/or administrative/supervisory experience; and experience in maternal child or mental health. Summer responsibilities may be required.

Director of Libraries

The Director of Libraries provides progressive and creative leadership for the collegeŐs libraries which support the institutionŐs commitment to academic excellence. The director is an experienced professional who has a clear understanding of emerging library trends and issues and the vision, energy, and creativity to address them. The director is responsible for the overall leadership, administration, operation and development of the libraries, including personnel, budgets, and the planning and assessment of library resources and services.

The college seeks candidates who have a proven track record in setting a collaborative tone and communicating well in order to build community within the libraries and with students, faculty, and colleagues. The director serves as an advocate for the college libraries, both internally and externally, and works in partnership with all constituent groups. The director provides direction and support for innovative teaching practices for the collegeŐs teaching faculty through the Teaching/Learning Centers.

This is a twelve-month, tenure-track faculty position.

Required: MasterŐs degree in Library Science (MLS) from an ALA-accredited institution; at least 5 years experience in an academic library setting; a record of excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, budget management, and supervisory skills; and commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Preferred: Knowledge of and experience with current library technologies; experience with collaborative/joint library ventures or agreements, and at least 3 years managerial/supervisory experience in a library setting.

These positions are entry level and will be filled at the instructor or assistant professor level.
