Thinking about a career as a counseling psychologist? This occupation usually requires a doctoral degree. You can begin your education at Jamestown Community College by completing our Associate in Arts, Liberal Arts: Social Science degree. This degree, which includes coursework in psychology, mathematics, and other liberal arts areas, is easily transferred to most four-year institutions offering baccalaureate programs in psychology. Students may also wish to begin with the Associate in Science, Human Services degree. Students should work closely with faculty advisors regarding transfer planning.
