JCC - Be First

Be First to complete your fall advisement and register in JCC's fall freshman class! We applaud your efforts to establish goals, meet deadlines, and make timely decisions. This early advisement preparation and registration process has been designed just for students like you!

Step One: Complete the online advisement prep option between April 15 and April 25. Successful completion of the online option will allow you to be scheduled for an on-campus faculty advisement meeting. Meeting with your faculty advisor completes the advisment and registration process for the fall semester.

Step Two: Before selecting this option, be sure you are able to answer "yes" to all of the following:

I acknowledge an understand that I am responsible for reading and completing the content of the online advisement prep session myself! (Note to parents of our college-age students and/or others: please feel welcome to view this important information, but it is THE STUDENT who is responsible for completing the session and discussing the content with a JCC faculty advisor!)
I have access to a computer with high speed internet and a JAVA enabled browser.
I have access to a working printer.
I have completed my placement test (reading, essay, and mathematics) or I have received a placement waiver.
I have an email address that I will check on a regular basis in order to schedule a faculty advisement appointment.
I understand that I must call to schedule my on-campus faculty advisement meeting prior to April 29. This meeting will last approximately 45 minutes.

Step Three: Turn off you pop-up blocker and Complete the online advisement prep session (approximately 35-40 minutes to complete.)
