Transfer Agreements Signed

JCC signed transfer agreements with D’Youville College and Hilbert College recently.

The agreements with D’Youville are designed for JCC students who plan to transfer to D’Youville in global studies, history, philosophy, psychology, or sociology.

D’Youville normally accepts no more than 65 credits in transfer from a two-year college. However, under the terms of these agreements, JCC students can transfer up to 79 credits toward requirements for a bachelor’s degree in philosophy or psychology, and up to 90 credits toward a bachelor’s degree in global studies, history, or sociology.

JCC and Hilbert have signed a transfer agreement for Hilbert’s forensic science degree program. Students who graduate from JCC with an A.S.-Criminal Justice degree and have a minimum grade point average of 2.2 in the major field of study are guaranteed admission into the forensic science degree program at Hilbert.

Students who complete courses specified in the agreement as part of their associate’s degree can generally complete the bachelor’s degree in two years at Hilbert. The articulation agreement in criminal justice has been updated to reflect Hilbert’s new general education requirements.
