JCC will host “Understanding Islam & Muslims,” a public presentation by Sam Qadri at 7 p.m. on May 5 in the Lenna Teleconference Theatre of Hultquist Library on the Jamestown Campus.

Qadri serves as the community outreach and public relations officer for the Jamestown Islamic Society. His talk will highlight common misconceptions about Muslims in today’s world, as well as some of the core teachings of the Islamic faith.

The presentation, free and open to the public, is sponsored by the Katharine Jackson Carnahan Endowment for the Humanities at JCC.
