JCC celebrated National Student Employment Week by honoring several student employees during a recent luncheon. The students were nominated for their reliability, quality and quantity of work, initiative, professional attitude, interpersonal skills, and unique contributions to the department in which they worked.

Named as student employees of the year were Kaitlyn Sexton of Olean and Joe Popielarz of Jamestown. Ms. Sexton, a student at the Cattaraugus County Campus, worked in the Learning Assistance Center. Popielarz worked as a student assistant in the media services department on the Jamestown Campus. The other nominee for the Cattaraugus County Campus was Chelsea Lewis of Bolivar.

Jamestown Campus nominees also included Taylor Flores, Ashley Johnson, Angela Bund, and Allison Smith of Jamestown; Ashley Gardner of Campbell, Marya Hoffman of Gowanda, Ashley Luka of Lakewood, Natalie Marsh of Bemus Point, Cody Oakes of Sinclairville, and Dylan Russ of Warren, PA.
