 LANDSCAPE OIL PASTEL WORKSHOP
Participants in this introduction oil pastel workshop will create step-by step atmosphere and light landscape paintings with oil pastel chalks inspired by actual places in Western New York. This workshop will explore oil pastel techniques and materials, the effects of atmosphere and light, and the Poetic Landscape: ideas, feelings, mood, sense of place and land as sacred space. Contemporary artist and old masters of landscape painting will also be discussed.
