JCC recently entered into a transfer articulation agreement with the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford to assist students who plan to transfer to various bachelor's degree programs.

The programs include biology education, chemistry education, English education, environmental education, mathematics education, and social studies education for grades 7-12, and business, computer, and information technology education for grades K-12.

The agreement guarantees acceptance of JCC students who complete up to 75 transferable credits, achieve a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.6, meet UPB conduct standards, complete application and deposit requirements by May 1, and fulfill additional requirements for admission to the education program at UPB.

The agreement also guarantees junior standing to students who transfer a minimum of 60 credit hours, and guarantees the opportunity to complete the bachelor's degree in four semesters at UPB to JCC students who complete specified coursework as part of their associate's degree.

JCC is also working with Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and Clarion University of Pennsylvania, and will be working with UPB, to update its elementary education agreements based on changes being made by the Pennsylvania Department of Education to that degree.
