New transfer articulation agreements between JCC and Medaille College provide for online completion of degrees in health information administration and homeland security.

The health information administration degree agreement guarantees that JCC graduates with an Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in medical office technology receive junior standing. JCC graduates with a certificate in medical office technology receive sophomore standing. Medaille will guarantee JCC students the opportunity to complete the bachelor's degree with the equivalent of five continuous semesters for students who take specified courses as part of their associate's degree, and with the equivalent of four semesters for students who also take additional specified courses.

JCC students who graduated with a certificate in office technology can transfer all 31 credit hours required for the certificate toward meeting requirements for the bachelor's degree in health information administration, and can also transfer additional specified credits.

The homeland security degree agreement guarantees that JCC students who graduate with an Associate in Science degree in criminal justice or A.A.S. degrees in criminal justice - police or public safety technology - fire science will receive junior standing. JCC students who earned a certificate in corrections officer technology, law enforcement technology, or public safety technology - fire science will receive sophomore standing.

Students who graduate with one of the associate's degrees can transfer up to 60 credit hours by including specified courses in their degree. Those who earn one of the certificates can transfer all credits required for the certificate.
JCC students must also have a minimum cumulative JCC grade point average of 2.5 to be considered for admission into either of Medaille's programs.
