National Golf Tournament Begins June 4

For the 20th straight year, JCC will host the National Junior College Athletic Association Division 3 men’s golf championship at Chautauqua Golf Club June 4-7.

Practice rounds will be held on Monday with competition rounds scheduled Tuesday through Friday. Tee times are from 9 a.m. to noon. Team and individual score sheets will be posted at www.sunyjcc.edu/njcaa.

Eighty-six golfers, several of them All-American and regional medalists, will compete in this year’s tournament. Besides JCC, which is represented by Nick Mole and Titus Miller, other college team and individual qualifiers include Anne Arundel Community College (MD), Butler County Community College (PA), Camden County College (NJ), Cayuga Community College (NY), Columbus State Community College (OH), Community College of Allegheny County (PA), County College of Morris (NJ), Garrett College (MD), Georgia Military College (GA), Harrisburg Area Community College (PA), Herkimer College (NY), Holyoke Community College (MA), Hudson Valley Community College (NY), Madison College (WI), Massasoit Community College (MA), MassBay Community College (MA), Minnesota State Community and Technical College (MN), Nassau Community College (NY), Niagara County Community College (NY), Northern Essex Community College (MA), Northampton Community College (PA), Onondaga Community College (NY), Oxford College of Emory University (GA), Rockland Community College (NY), Rowan College at Burlington (NJ), Sandhills Community College (NC), SUNY Adirondack College (NY), SUNY Ulster (NY), and Westchester Community College (NY).
