Representatives from more than 40 colleges and universities will be provide information to prospective students during College Information Night from 6-8:30 p.m. on October 17 at JCC’s Jamestown Campus.

The event, which will be held in the Physical Education Complex, is hosted by JCC and the Chautauqua County Counselors Association. Admission is free. For additional information, call JCC, 716.338.1001.

The program offers high school students, their parents, and community members the opportunity to meet representatives from Alfred University, Allegheny College, Baldwin Wallace University, Bellevue University, Buffalo State College, Canisius College, Clarion University, Clarkson University, Daemen College, D’Youville College, Edinboro University, Gannon University, Hilbert College, Hobart & William Smith Colleges, Houghton College, Jamestown Business College, Keuka College, LECOM, Mansfield University, Medaille College, Mercyhurst University, Miami University of Ohio, Nazareth College, Niagara University, Pennsylvania College of Technology, Penn State University, Rochester Institute of Technology, St. Bonaventure University, St. John Fisher College, Alfred State College, SUNY Brockport, SUNY Canton, SUNY Empire State College, SUNY College of Environmental Science & Forestry, SUNY Fredonia, SUNY Geneseo, SUNY Oswego, SUNY Polytechnic Institute, University at Buffalo, University at Pittsburgh at Bradford, University of Mount Union, Utica College, Wells College, and Westminster College.

During separate panel sessions, admissions representatives from several colleges will discuss the college application process and current college students will outline their perspectives on life after high school.

Information on grants and scholarships, including the new Excelsior Scholarship for eligible New York state students, will also be available.
