JCC has been designated a 2017 Military Friendly® School by Victory Media, a resource for military personnel transitioning into civilian life.

The Military Friendly® Schools designation is awarded to American colleges, universities, and trade schools that are doing the most to embrace military students and their success in the classroom and after graduation.

Military Friendly® Schools, found at, provides service members and their families with ratings about post-military education and career opportunities.

Institutions earning the Military Friendly® School designation were evaluated using public data sources and responses to Victory Media’s proprietary survey.

JCC offers a variety of resources for student veterans at its Jamestown and Cattaraugus County campuses as well as its North County Center in Dunkirk. The resources are designed to enhance the success of students.
