Monday, December 14, 2020

JCC and Gannon University have updated an articulation agreement that allows JCC graduates to transfer easily into Gannon’s nursing program.

The agreement guarantees junior standing for JCC students who graduate with an Associate in Science degree in nursing and a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.7.

JCC students who transfer a minimum of 60 stipulated credit hours can fulfill requirements for a bachelor’s degree in nursing online in two years with Gannon. Gannon will accept all 64 JCC credit hours required for the AAS nursing degree in which a minimum grade of C was earned.

Students can also transfer additional stipulated JCC coursework toward meeting additional bachelor’s degree requirements, up to a total of 98 transferred JCC credit hours. All students must complete a minimum of 30 institutional credits through Gannon.

Registered nurses with specific experience in community health, leadership roles, and political or social action activities may qualify for portfolio credit from Gannon.
