JCC has updated transfer articulation agreements in environmental science degree programs with several colleges and universities.

The agreements  -- with St. Bonaventure University, the State University of New York (SUNY) at Fredonia, SUNY Brockport, and the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry -- guarantee junior standing and the opportunity to complete the bachelor's degree in four semesters to JCC students who complete specified coursework as part of their associate's degree.

JCC received SUNY and New York State Education Department approval to offer an Associate in Science degree in environmental science in 2011. The 60-credit hour program provides foundations for well-trained environmental and citizen scientists to meet the environmental challenges of the 21st century.
