Certificate This program is designed to provide students with the specialized skills necessary to prepare them for employment in a medical office and to develop students’ office skills along with specialization directed toward medical terminology, medical insurance and medical office procedures. The program may also offer short-term training to those seeking to increase their marketability or seeking a career change. The certificate provides students with the basic core of work and problem-solving abilities and constitutes the first half of the associate degree in medical office technology.
