Barrier Precautions:
Course Information

Jamestown Community College is now offering the NYS mandated
Barrier Precautions course online. This course offering
is in addition to our classroom training. It will allow
busy health care professionals the opportunity to complete
this required course at their convenience.
The course provides background information on NYS legislation,
and will cover six element areas of course work pertaining
to barrier precaution and infection control. Each element
will present learning objectives to students and will
have a five-question quiz at the end. Barrier
Precautions Course Description
The cost for this course is $40.
Students will receive a NYS Certificate for Continuing
Education after successfully completing this course.
TO REGISTER:
- Complete the registration form.

- Read and complete the top part of the Affidavit of
Student Identity From (all parts outside of the boxed
in area.) Have it notarized (they will complete the
portion inside the box). Student

- Return the registration form, the affidavit of student
identity and payment for $40.00 (either check or money
order (made payable to JCC), or complete the credit
card portion (Mastercard or Visa ONLY), and return all

- Once your information is received at JCC, your on-line
account will be set up and you will receive an email
message with your username and password. You will also
receive the dates for which your account will be valid.
You will need to complete the course within that timeframe.
- After you finish the course, hit the final SUBMIT
button. The course information goes to the course manager,
and a certificate of completion will be issued and emailed
to you.
