Job Description: 

We offer a variety of experiences with children from 2 to 18 years old. We have a Pre-school, Universal Pre-Kindergarten, Before School Programming, Afterschool Programming, Teen Youth Center and vacation/summer child care. Intern will have a role suited to his or her area of interest. Interns will gain insight into working with all ages of children as well as the administrative requirements for the Office of Children and Family Services.


Applicant should have experience working with children and a commitment to lifelong learning. Successful applicants will be patient, motivated and creative with an ability to multi-task. We look for people with a variety of skills and talents and place that person in their area of interest. In the past, we have had Physical Education and Sports Medicine majors that have run successful physical activity programs with our students. We are open to applicants from every field because of the diversity of the population that we work with. There are many behind the scenes projects from marketing to fund raising to media and we welcome all applicants. Internship will be completed for credit and applicants should have a minimum GPA of 3.0.

No pay during internship but successful interns are typically offered employment with our agency at the end of the internship.
