Job Description: 

The Fenton History Center seeks an intern to assist with its summer camp program. Intern will learn the logistics of running a day camp, understand how to handle various children in different situations during the camp period, learn how to build a curriculum around a historical site, and learn how to design hands-on-activities to teach specific objectives at a historical site.

Requirements: 

Applicants should have a driver's license, interest in elementary education and/or working with children, interest in history, and be over 18 years of age.

Responsibilities: 

Intern will assist the summer camp director and instructor during the week prior to the camp and assist the instructor during the week of camp. There are three separate weeks of camp for grades 1-3 and 4-7.
