Job Description: 

The Adirondack Fishery Research Program at Cornell University conducts fishery research focused on native fish communities and recreational fisheries in the Adirondack Mountain region of New York State. The program currently seeks 1-2 biology and/or environmental science interns for the summer. Interns will learn a variety of field sampling techniques (i.e., water, fish), observe practical applications of the experimental method in a field setting, and experience professional interactions with research scientists and students.

Requirements: 

Applicants with an interest in biology, fisheries, and aquatic sciences are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities: 

Interns will assist staff and students with various research field studies focused on Adirondack Mountain region fisheries and aquatic ecosystems.

Days/Hours Intern is Needed: 

Internship will start in early June and continue until early August.
