Curves is seeking one to two interns for upcoming semesters. Interns will learn how to interact with women of all walks of fitness and health and be able to work with each one. They will learn how the Curves Circuit works every muscle group and that it can be extremely effective alone or with the various classes offered. They will also learn how a healthy diet can and will help clients build muscle and metabolism while losing fat.
Applicants should be energetic, self-motivated, have an outgoing personality, and love to work with people. Applicants must also know the value of living a healthy lifestyle. Understanding basic muscle groups and how they work and is helpful, as is a nutritional background. The internship will be completed for credit. Interns will need to drive as part of the placement.
Interns will interact with members and potential members on the Curves Circuit, on the Circuit with Jillian Michaels, on the Circuit with Body Basics, and possibly on the Circuit with Zumba. Interns will coach, compel, and celebrate with members as they work toward their goals for health and fitness.
Intern will typically work 3:30 to 7 p.m.
