Job Description: 

This position will give a student the opportunity to use their programming skills in a real world manufacturing environment. Programming of Android Tablets, Microsoft Office & SQL Databases and the Microsoft Windows Environment along with Web Page development for internal use in the organization will aid the student in understanding how programming can be used to interface to real time and historical data collection which can then be used to make a better and more consistent products.

Requirements: 
  • Progress towards completing an associate’s degree in computer engineering technology, computer science, computer information systems or related degrees and currently enrolled in a program
  • Knowledge and interest in computer programming with courses completed in JAVA, HTML, C++, SQL or .NET
Responsibilities: 
  • Improve production operations for performance, ergonomics, and cost
  • Optimize production process to improve product yield and reduce quality defects
  • Implement process control and data communications systems
  • Design and implement data acquisition and analysis systems in manufacturing
Hours per Week: 
8-20 hours/week
Days/Hours Intern is Needed: 

Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Salary: 
$12 to $18/hour commensurate with education level/experience
