Job Description: 

This is a  two  semester  internship, with a proposed start date of December 3rd or 10th.  Work one morning and/or  afternoon per week completing the following tasks: reviewing written submissions on property tax cases and Summary Jury Trials; monitoring court calendar for the day and month; filing; working with Robert H. Jackson American Inns of Court matters, including Continuing Legal Education events.

Requirements: 

Enrollment at JCC.  All majors are encouraged to apply but those hoping to enter law school may be given preference depending on their skills. Desired skills and characteristics include: commitment to and respect for confidentiality; ability to write and communicate well in English; ability to analyze arguments; ability to follow protocol; ability to work independently and as part of court staff; interest in learning about the court system; demonstrated academic abilities; computer and internet skills.
