I have the primary responsibility of administering the nursing program at JCC on both the Jamestown and the Cattaraugus County campuses. If you are considering or have already been admitted to the nursing program, you can be assured that you will have a quality educational experience. Students who graduate from the JCC nursing program with an A.A.S have the ability to take the National Licensure examination to become registered nurses. Your other faculty members and I work hard to ensure that the first-time pass rate on the national examination for our graduates is above the state and national averages. Our program has a long history of accreditation by the Accreditation Commission for Nursing Education Inc. (ACEN), formerly the National League of Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC). We pride ourselves on the fact that both graduates and employers indicate on surveys that they are highly satisfied with the JCC nursing program.
Just as our program works to provide our students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to gain employment or continue their education, I will work with you to help you identify strategies which will help you reach your goals. I am passionate about our students and their future plans. If you are considering the nursing program, I am happy to help answer any questions you may have. Whether you are a prospective student, a student who is new to the nursing field, or one who is experienced in the field, I am always available to you via e-mail, phone, or in person. I look forward to speaking with you more about JCC's nursing program.
