Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending. -Maria Robinson

I serve as the JCC Liberty Partnerships Program director, a five year New York State grant funded initiative. We currently serve 360 middle and high school students in Salamanca, Dunkirk, and Jamestown school districts. Our main focus is to expand the students’ experiences and introduce them to college and career opportunities that position them well for their futures.

My career has been dedicated to serving young people through my work experiences and community service. What I appreciate most about working with students is the two-way growth exchange. It is so rewarding to see students evolving and experiencing “aha” moments, while always finding myself in a continual state of becoming.

Liberty Partnerships Program is a collaborative effort and we are very fortunate to tap into the many resources available through JCC and our community. Our students are discovering diverse opportunities right in their own backyards and we are incredibly appreciative to live in an area that defines community in such a remarkable way.
